1/14 Worship Theme- Wine for the Party

John 2:1-11. Jesus is at a wedding party. They run out of wine. What should he do? What will he do? There is so much we might say about this text. We could talk about Mary, Jesus’s mother, asking him to do something. We could talk about his resistance to doing something. We could talk about miracles, then and now. This Sunday we will explore what a story like this one in the gospel of John has to teach us about the God, about our relationship to God, and about our responsibility to one another.
