A Vow of Poverty

I admit it: this first vow does not sound very “attractive.” Further, it may sound a little counter-intuitive. Would God really want me to be in poverty? So, what if delve a little deeper into what poverty might have looked like to a monk making the vow, and how we might find some places where it would make sense for us? Let us open ourselves to what this vow teaches this Sunday in worship at 11am Eastern. Perhaps it is worth a good wrestling!
