This week we turn to the #peacemaker #beatitude:
How blest are the peacemakers; God shall call them sons and daughters.
Those who bring and make peace are called "God's children" by God!
What does it mean to make peace? Are we talking about diplomats? Is this peace at any cost? Is peace the absence of violence? Something else or more? We will direct our attention to this beatitude on Sunday (or whenever you watch worship), knowing as we do that the word "peacemaker" is used by Jesus here for the only time it is ever used in the Bible. I hope we will be challenged and encouraged and re-engaged in the work Jesus has noted as important to God's children.
