Exploring Hope in the Midst of Yearning

The whole world is yearning for something more, something unequivocally positive. As people of the Christian faith, we are drawn towards the promise of Christmas. Yet, what many believe was promised at Christmas has not fully materialized. What then, can we truly hope for? How will this hope be realized? Advent isn't merely a season to prepare for an event that has already occurred; rather, it's a time to anticipate something new, something fresh and hope-filled. Join us for our first Advent sermon: 'Exploring Hope in the Midst of Yearning.'

In our reading from Romans 8:24-26, we delve into the echoes of hope that Paul writes about in this beloved section of Romans. What insights will we gain that can not only uplift us but also enable us to contribute to God's work in the world?
