Jacob is on the “road.” He is traveling and he stops for the night. Then he gets a rock for a pillow and shuts his eyes. And as you might imagine, Jacob dreams. He dreams of a ladder/staircase/ramp with God’s messengers ascending and descending and God speaks to him. Where Jacob sleeps is a piece of the Promised Land. What is more, Jacob will inherit it. When Jacob arises in the morning, he sets up his “pillow,” the rock, and anoints it with oil. So what does this have to do with The Universal Christ? You’ll have to join us or listen in on Sunday at 11am Eastern. (It’s the new series leading up to our online class: The Universal Christ!)
