Life Happens: The Power of the Spirit

Following the events and excitement of Easter, many of us are left, similar to the disciples, wondering what this means for the imperfect and difficult world we live in. It was only natural for the disciples to assume the coming of Jesus, his death, and resurrection meant freedom from the oppressive Roman Empire and restoration of the kingdom of Israel. But, as things with Jesus usually go, it was much different than expected. Much better than expected.
