Why Do I Need to Ask?

God already knows me and my needs. And God also loves and cares about me. So I admit my faults and expect God to take care of my shortcomings. However, this is where many relationships can take a bad turn, assuming the other party knows and will take care of things. Since this “thing” is part of our ongoing relationship, I humbly ask God to remove the shortcoming. “Seek…, ask…” Now, I get the picture! This week we will sort together step 7 of the 12 steps.
